Drawing inspiration from the Greek custom of Martitsi, this full CGI video tells a delicate story of renewal. Traditionally, at the end of March, red-and-white braided bracelets are hung on tree branches so that birds may use them to build their nests — a symbolic gesture that welcomes the arrival of spring.

 

In this digital interpretation for Anna Maria Mazaraki’s seasonal jewelry collection, a bracelet gently touches a bare tree branch, which then begins to bloom. It’s as if the bracelet itself awakens nature.

 

The production was entirely CGI. We digitized the jewelry, created a stylized yet organic tree, and developed a progressive blooming animation in Houdini to capture the moment winter gives way to spring.
